Spec Ltd is a family owned and run company. We are Electrical Contractors and, for the last 27 years, we have supported the industry with a high standard of work via our dedicated team of engineers.

 Our company specialises in the industrial sector providing design, installation and maintenance of new and existing infrastructures both Nationwide and within Europe.

 We have had 27 years experience in the industry currently supporting companies such as Marshalls Mono Ltd, Hanson group, Atrex Rawlplug, British Polythene Industries & Amcor Flexibles UK. 

Our specialist skills are:

Mains services - All our work is carried out on the low voltage side of electrical systems (400V), to include all containment and intricate conduit work for electrical systems.

We can supply and install main distribution equipment and Motor Control Centres for the delivery of power to all types of industry.

Overhead lighting systems - We specialise in the installation of a small bus bar system, which provides the supply and the support for all types of light fittings.

This system has many advantages over a conventional trunking arrangement, time savings of the installation being the major factor. 

Machine movement - We have undertaken the complete removal of machinery both electrically and mechanically in conjunction with Ben Gregory Contracts Ltd, Ripley, Derbyshire.

 Control panels - design and manufacture for all applications.

This type of work has taken us to the Thyssen foundry in Gelsenkirchen in Germany.

We currently manufacture and install control panels for two medium size companies that specialise in cleaning machines such as vehicle washers for transport companies and Cask / Keg cleaning for Breweries around the country.

Other services - We can also provide the design and installation of CCTV systems, Fire alarms and Emergency lighting.

Assurance - We are registered with the NICEIC all our work is carried out in accordance with BS 7671 and carries a one year warranty.

We carry a minimum of £5 Million Public liability insurance, £10 Million Employers liability and can meet with the stringent Heath & Safety laws of today’s need.

Our operators are trained for working at height and carry a valid license for the operation of mobile platforms.

 We have worked on a variety of sites ranging from the cleanliness of the Food and Pharmaceutical industry to Foundries, Water treatment works giving consideration to each individuals working environment.
