Gain FA Charter Standard Development Club Award.

 

The Club is pleased to announce that it has gained this prestigious award.  The Development Charter Standard Mark is a great achievement for the club and recognises how well the club is organised and managed by its committee and coaching staff. To get the award the club had to produce a three year Development Plan which is now available on this website. We also had to review and put in place a number of policies that ensure the safety and protection of children and young people playing for the club. The Clubs coaches had to undergo training and gained FA Coaching qualifications which included First Aid and Child Protection training. 

The Charter Mark ensures that the club is run in line with the FA’s guidance for good practice covering all areas of the club from committee meetings through to the clubs constitution and financial reporting. Holding the Charter Mark will also open up external funding avenues for the club in the future including sponsorship.
